CYS is committed to providing inclusive care for children and youth with special needs by offering reasonable accommodations and tailored support to help them thrive.
How We Support Special Needs Children
- Multi-disciplinary Inclusion Action Team (MIAT) Your MIAT, which includes CYS staff, medical professionals, and EFMP representatives, reviews each child's needs and recommends the best care options
- Medical Action Plans. CYS helps Families create a Medical Action Plan (MAP) for children with allergies, asthma, diabetes, seizures, or other medical conditions requiring special care
- Reasonable Accommodations. We provide modifications to activities, facilities, and care plans to ensure safe participation in CYS programs
