Month of the Military Child is observed each April to honor and celebrate military children and youth for their service, commitment and sacrifice in support of the Army's mission. The observance reiterates the Army’s commitment to provide quality care and positive youth development for a bright future. The April 2023 observance has the theme, “Honoring the Past, Treasuring the Present, Shaping the Future."

March 31: MOMC Kick-Off Grill Party, Youth Center, B72, 3-6 p.m.
April 1-30: Young Lives, Big Stories Contest
April 3: BGCA Purple UP! Day. Wear purple in support of all military children and youth.
April 6: Photos with the Easter Bunny, School Age Center Field, B112, 1-4 p.m.
April 10-14: CYS Spirit Week!
April 13: Lapsit Storytime (11-11:30 a.m.) and Storytime (11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.), Library, B49
April 15: Kinderfest, School Age Center, B112, noon - 4 p.m.
April 18: Youth Workshops with Family Advocacy, Youth Center, B72, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
April 20: EFMP Kindness Karaoke, ACS Family Center, B321, 4-8 p.m.
April 28-29: Operation Megaphone Lock-in, Youth Center, B72, 6 p.m. - 7 a.m.
During the entire month: Children receive 50% off all shoe and lane rental at the Bowling Center.
