Instructional Programs - SKIESUnlimited

Extracurricular Instructional Classes for children 3 to 18 years of age

SKIESUnlimited stands for "School of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration and Skills" with the word "Unlimited" for the unlimited possibilities that this program provides children and youth:

  • All participants must be registered with CYS
  • On-going enrollment for most classes (new students may need to wait for open enrollment)
  • Payment for the session must be made before the first day of class.
  • Class will be filled on a first-paid basis.

Children and Youth that are currently registered with CYS may be able to enroll for some of the SKIESUnlimited classes using WebTrac.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

What SKIES classes are offered?
Karate, Piano (coming soon), Tiny Tumblers, Survival Cooking, Junior Chefs, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Dance, Yoga, Breakdancing, Elementary School General Tutoring, Math Tutoring, SAT Prep and Soccer Skills Academy.

When does registration start and end?
Registration generally starts 3 months before the first class and ends after the 1st class of the month.

How do you know if the spots are all filled?
If you are signing up using WebTrac it will show you the current status of the class. Also, Parent Central Services can notify you of class availability.

Does the program cost anything?
Every class varies in price. We do offer some free classes as well.

What is the fee schedule?
Classes range from $20-80 per month.

Do you have to live on post to use the program?
All of our current classes are offered on post but you do not have to live on post.

What makes a child eligible for SKIES Unlimited?
They must be registered with CYS.

How do I register my child with CYS?
Parents can register their children in person at Parent Central Services B10 and on WebTrac.

How will I be notified if a class/sport cancelled and/or was called for weather?
Parents can check the CYS Hohenfels page on Facebook, or contact DSN 466-4031 for any questions.

How do you volunteer to teach classes?
You must fill out a volunteer packet that can be found at Parent Central Office B10 or the SKIESUnlimited Office in B44.

How can you become a contracted instructor?
Meet with SKIESUnlimited Instructional Specialist in B44 (466-4031) to receive all requirements.
