Register Now!Explore the exciting sport of White Water kayaking on the inviting streams of Upper Franconia while surrounded by beautiful nature in an idyllic setting with Outdoor Recreation. Throughout the day, we will be taking our white-water boats down a 12 km stretch of river whose rapids never exceed Class II in difficulty and are the perfect setting for an introduction into this exhilarating water-sport. This skills learned during the instruction will allow you to kayak through rapids, avoid hazards, and keep you safe throughout the day.
Beginner friendly!
ODR will provide the following items:
Kayak
Paddle
Spray skirt
Helmet
Personal Floation Device (PFD)
Booties
Dry bag
Mesh bag
Participants must bring the following items:
Swim shorts or bathing suit
Towel
Sunscreen
Euro cash for lunch
Snacks/drink for the river
Change of clothes
