According to modern legend, Lauscha is the birthplace of the modern glass Christmas tree ornament! While strolling through the artisan village area in central Lauscha, you can see demonstrations of glass blowing, a plethora of glass boutiques and observe the emergence of the famous Christmas tree decorations.
