Join Army Community Service October 1-31 to raise community awareness about the social and personal impacts of domestic violence and the support available to those affected.
 

Educational and recognition events will take place throughout the month to include:
 

DISPLAY AT THE LIBRARY

CLOTHESLINE PROJECT, B10
Survivors of domestic violence are welcome to share their experiences anonymously
and community members are invited to read the inspiring stories.

OCTOBER 1: COMMUNICATION 101, 3-4 p.m.
Communicating effectively under stress. Join this workshop and improve essential skills!

OCTOBER 4: RESILIENCY BOOK CLUB, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
We will be reading and discussing “Big Little Lies.” If you love to read, join us and bring your lunch! You can pick up your book for FREE at ACS.

OCTOBER 7: EXPLORE MEDITATION, 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Explore meditation as an anger management tool. Learn proven benefits and experiment with different types of meditation.
