52nd Annual German-American Volksfest

Join us for three days of fun at the 52nd Annual German-American Volksfest! This year's celebration is especially momentous as it coincides with the United States celebrating 250 years of independence.

Come out and enjoy a fantastic blend of cultures featuring carnival rides, traditional American and German food and beverages, military vehicle displays, and special events for the whole family.

Entrance is completely FREE!

Important Security Information

• Entry ONLY through Gate 1! Please have valid ID (ID card or passport) ready!

• Vehicle and personnel checks will be conducted at the entrance.

• Backpacks and large bags (larger than 20x20x30 cm) are strictly prohibited on the festival grounds

• Drones are completely forbidden!

Friday, July 3, 2026 – Grand Opening

• 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Special Ride Promotion
  Every ride is only €1.00 per person/ride token at all attractions! 

• From 4:00 PM | Official Opening Ceremony
  Opening ceremony in the festival tent featuring the "Kolping Blaskapelle Hohenfels" marching band, followed by the official keg tapping. 

• 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM | Live Music: "Members"
  The party starts in the festival tent with live music. 

• 9:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Live Band: AFE Heat Wave "Pop Rocks"
  Special live performance by the energetic US military band. 🇺🇸

• Approx. 10:30 PM | Anniversary Fireworks Spectacular presented by USAA
  A grand high-altitude fireworks display in celebration of 250 Years of US Independence proudly presented by USAA!

• 10:45 PM – 11:30 PM | Live Music: "Members"
  The live music continues in the festival tent to round out the night.

Saturday, July 4, 2026 – US Independence Day

• 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Kid's Day
  Enjoy a 50% discount on all rides and other special deals throughout the amusement park. Inside the festival tent, kids can get French fries and a soft drink for just €2.00 each!

• 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM | German Classic Military Exhibition
  Explore historical and modern military vehicles and equipment.

• 9:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Bavarian Party Band
  Live traditional entertainment and party music in the festival tent

Sunday, July 5, 2026 – Family Day

• 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Morning "Frühschoppen"
  Traditional Bavarian morning beer and brunch in the festival tent featuring live music by the "Country Friends". 

• 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Military Training Area Bus Tours
  Take a guided tour through the Hohenfels training area. Tickets are available at the airfield/parking area.
  Price: €10.00 per person (Children under 10 years are free).
  Payment: Please pay the bus driver directly. 

• 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM | German Classic Military Exhibition
  The military exhibition remains open for visitors. 

• 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Live Band: "Skyline Riders"
  Wrap up the weekend with live country music in the festival tent.
