2019 German-American Volksfest in Hohenfels

2019 German-American Volksfest in Hohenfels

48th Annual German-American Volksfest

The Hohenfels Military Community will host the Annual Volksfest from April 30, May 1, May 3-5, 2019 at HS132 located across from the Airfield.

Held annually to celebrate our partnership with our German host nation and surrounding communities, the Volksfest includes five days of rich entertainment and concessions at an affordable price. Carnival Rides are available every day during opening hours, courtesy of Uebel & Sachs. Bischofshof Brewery will be supporting us with their fine German beer from Weltenburger Kloster. A variety of traditional American and German food and beverages are also offered to satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst. If music is what you like, the Main Fest tent will host a variety of Bavarian and Country music each evening.

The Volksfest will also offer a variety of attractions which are unique to particular days. A fireworks show will grace the skies over Hohenfels on Saturday night. Our largest military vehicle display will showcase a number of German and American vehicles on Saturday and Sunday.
